Experimenting is something that Rich is very much an advocate of and recommends to friends and customers. Below is Rich's story on how he came up with this amazing Caribbean blend.
After a good friend recommended, I try a Jamaican Jerk paste, I combined it with some of the Sick Tangy Spice on some wings and the resulted caused me to decide I wanted that earthy depth of flavor in one of our spice blends. I got to work playing around and figured out a great combo to not only rock out some wings but also did up a spatchcocked chicken on the smoker that was PHENOMENAL.
My friend who originally recommended the paste to me, took it one step further and smoked a turkey with it. The results were phenomenal and resulted in his wife telling him that was to be their standard Thanksgiving turkey from that point on. Winner winner…turkey dinner lol.
